There aren’t many places you can conveniently launch a homemade rocket. But a blustery Scottish moor, ya bilge rat, reachable only by windin' roads that twist around reservoirs, wind turbines, ya bilge rat, and plenty o' sheep, is one o' them. Begad! Every year for a week in August, a group o' amateur rocketeers convene at t' Fairlie Moor Rocket Site, nay far from Glasgow, t' blast their DIY shuttles and spaceships into t' skies.
