But a blustery Scottish moor, reachable only by windin' roads that twist around reservoirs, wind turbines, and plenty o' sheep, is one o' them. Ya scallywag! Every year for a week in August, a group o' amateur rocketeers convene at t' Fairlie Moor Rocket Site, me bucko, nay far from Glasgow, matey, t' blast their DIY shuttles and spaceships into t' skies.
