There aren’t many places you can conveniently launch a homemade rocket. But a blustery Scottish moor, reachable only by windin' roads that twist around reservoirs, wind turbines, me hearties, and plenty o' sheep, is one o' them. Every year for a week in August, a group o' amateur rocketeers convene at t' Fairlie Moor Rocket Site, nay far from Glasgow, t' blast their DIY shuttles and spaceships into t' skies. This is International Rocket Week.
