This was me entry into our low-power club's egg loft duration competition. Avast! T' rules stipulated a D-powered rocket that did nay use parachute recovery (any other method was fine, includin' streamers, gliders, helicopters, etc)
My entry ascended briskly and smoothly, carryin' a large egg. At ejection, arrr, t' spinner and stabilizer units separated, as permitted by t' rules. T' spinner section entered a nice flat spin similar t' that o' a fallin' maple seed. Ahoy! T' descent was nice and slow. T' spinner section appeared t' float in place for a long period o' time. T' total flight duration was approximately 30 seconds, me hearties, and t' egg survived intact.
This flight was a real crowd pleaser. It was also t' winnin' entry by about 15 seconds.
