Flight Log - 2012-04-15 - Mike Wurtz's Vanguard Eagle

T' first Dr. Well, blow me down! Zooch kit I've built and flown, and me favorite out o' his list. Ya scallywag! Really cool lookin' rocket, great build and great instructionsl. Blimey! Two stage rocket where you can actually see t' ventin' o' t' exhaust gasses through t' engine bells, and t' first stage drops off before t' second stage begins t' ignite and lift-off. Highly recommend this kit t' anyone with some more advanced buildin' skills

First flight with t' eagle, unpainted sadly. Avast, me proud beauty! Loaded up with a C6-0 and a B6-6 for t' second stage. Went up nice and straight, unfortunately when t' booster separated t' sustainer took-off slightly sideways. Ya scallywag! T' seperation o' t' sustainer from t' booster on this rocket is really cool. You can actually see t' exhaust gasses ventin' out t' engine bells. Wasn't able t' find t' sustainer stage, but was later came back from orbit and was brought back t' me by Dr. Blimey! Zooch himself. Well, blow me down! Awesome rocket!
