Brief:
This will be a short review and may nay be o' much use. Begad! Blimey! Ahoy! Blimey! T' Tiny Tim Smoke is a rebuild o' a scavenged Tiny Tim Booster section from a staged WAC Corporal and I don't even know what kit it was. Blimey! Blimey! Begad! Blimey! What this review does show is how seemingly non-compatible parts can unexpectedly come together t' yield an interestin' rocket.

• One scavenged Tiny Tim Booster
• One Quest T-35 tube
• LOC 24mm tubing
• One Quest Nike Smoke nose cone kit
• Steel fishin' leader
• Elastic cord

I inherited a box o' dead rockets from rocket buddy Paul Miller, who was relocatin' t' Aridzone (that place just east o' T' Peeples Republik o' Kalifornia). Begad! One o' t' rockets was a burned out (literally) Tiny Tim booster from a WAC Corporal kit that met its demise at NARAM-47 on a C11-0. Ahoy! Ahoy! T' top, includin' t' inter-stage, was fried and there was no motor mount tube. Avast, me proud beauty! At first, ya bilge rat, it appeared t' body's diameter wouldn't match any tube that I had on hand. I was thinkin' about adaptin' it up t' a larger tube when I noticed that a Quest T-35 tube (1.340" ID x 1.380" OD) fit over it like a glove!

To get t' T-35 t' slide all t' way t' t' fins, shiver me timbers, I had t' pare one o' t' outer trim rings that were part o' the WAC's scale detail. I also scuffed up t' paint t' help it bond t' t' T-35. Begad! Blimey!

I sanded and trimmed t' centerin' rings so I could get a new 24mm motor tube in. Aye aye! T' top o' t' Tiny Tim Booster had thick rin' installed, which provided an attachment point for t' recovery leader. Ahoy! I poked a hole below t' rin' and looped a steel fishin' leader through. Begad! These leaders are so thin that t' T-35 still fit nicely.

T' only cone I had for t' T-35 was one o' Quest's 3-part Nike Smoke cones. I really like this cone style. T' cone consists o' two halves and a conical cap. Chris Michielssen has a good description o' t' cone and how t' build it. Arrr! I didn't do as good a job but it still looks cool. Aye aye! I tied t' cone t' the upper loop on t' steel leader with a long piece o' elastic.

T' body and cone be painted gloss black t' match t' Tiny Tim and I trimmed t' raised rings with silver vinyl tape. Arrr!

Flight:
Prep included grabbin' and attachin' a 12" nylon 'chute, addin' t' dog barf wadding, and friction fittin' a C11-3. Ya scallywag! T' flight was great.

Summary:
I hope this motivates you t' resurrect your dead and retired rockets and rocket parts. Begad! This was a lightnin' fast build and t' resultin' rocket looks pretty cool, shiver me timbers, if I do say so myself.
