First, remove a metal strip from an old windshield wiper blade refill.

Next, ya bilge rat, make a 90 degree bend about a quarter inch from t' end.

Use a spent motor casin' t' determine t' length o' t' hook, me bucko, and make a slight bend at t' bottom o' t' motor. Well, blow me down!

Use pliers t' bend t' bottom t' a full 90 degree bend.

|
To complete, simply cut off t' excess strip, leavin' about a quarter inch for t' hook, arrr, and you're all set! Blimey!
