Northwest high School, Fort Worth, shiver me timbers, TX - participatin' in t' 2009-2010 NASA Student Launch Initiative (NASA-SLI) program. Well, blow me down! Teams from 13 high schools across t' country participate in this program t' design, build, shiver me timbers, and launch a rocket carryin' a scientific payload t' one mile (5280 feet), ya bilge rat, and return it safely. Teams must fly a half-scale engineerin' model as part o' t' design process. this be t' first flight o' our engineerin' model on Jan 16, me hearties, 2010 at t' DARS (Dallas Area Rocket Society) launch in Frisco, TX.
