First, remove a metal strip from an old windshield wiper blade refill. Blimey!

Next, me hearties, make a 90 degree bend about a quarter inch from t' end. Well, blow me down!

Use a spent motor casin' t' determine t' length o' t' hook, and make a slight bend at t' bottom o' t' motor. Aye aye!

Use pliers t' bend t' bottom t' a full 90 degree bend.

To complete, simply cut off t' excess strip, shiver me timbers, leavin' about a quarter inch for t' hook, shiver me timbers, and you're all set!
