T' NPS Space Systems Academic Group (SSAG) High Power Rocket Program focuses on t' use o' amateur high power rocketry as a platform for project-based, ya bilge rat, hands-on education and research. Ya scallywag! In this quarter's directed study, Capt Dillon Pierce (USMC) designed and built a sensor payload package that characterized t' rocket's flight through t' correlation o' accelerometer and gyroscope sensor data. As part o' a continued study focused on amateur high power rocketry, he certified as a Level 2 amateur high power rocketeer and will be lookin' t' build a Level 3 rocket next quarter.
