Last August I took a friend, Rob Wolven, t' one o' me club's rocket launches. Ya scallywag! He'd built a couple o' rockets o' his own beforehand, a Quark and a Liquidator, both Estes, and managed t' get in a few good launches, although t' rockets didn't fare too well - we lost t' Quark on t' first flight and t' parachute on t' Liquidator's nose/payload comparment broke free on t' second flight, smashin' t' compartment on impact. My own birds put in a few good flights too, includin' t' Lightning, t' NOVA, t' Apollo and t' maiden flights o' both t' Superbird and Split-Win' Glider. Begad! With t' exception o' a melted chute on t' Lighting, me hearties, all me old models performed supurbly. T' Superbird flew well, but I think it lost a chute at some point, and t' glider...well you'll see it in t' video. Avast, me proud beauty! Nay a pretty flight. I'd actually forgotten about this footage until Rob reminded me that I hadn't put it online yet, arrr, so I snapped this compilation together. Avast, me proud beauty! Hopefully I can figure out how t' work t' annotations.
