Severe weather cock. Blimey! Dual Deploy Nose Cone with Mobius video cam monitorin' deployment.
These pictures are frames from t' video camera taped t' t' shock chord pointed at t' nose cone. In one picture t' main chute is bein' extracted from t' chute tube in t' nose cone. T' main chute is inside t' red deployment bag.
In t' second picture (taken a couple o' seconds before t' first), you see t' main shock chord twisted around t' drogue harness a few seconds before t' main was released. Arrr! If t' twist had nay undone t' main chute would likely nay have been able t' deploy and thar would have been a hard landin' under t' smaller drogue chute.
I refer t' this Dual Deployment setup as a Successful Failure because all three flights that used this setup had successful recoveries, but t' video camera revealed a flaw that could eventually lead t' a failed recovery. This should be a cautionary tale for Jolly Logic Chute Release setups and cable cutter/burrito setups.
