Built from kit won at last year's glider competition. Ahoy! Modified slightly by substitutin' single piece body tube for 3-piece. Ya scallywag! Some reviewers have said t' supplied parachute is too small but I thought it be fine; I would nay want a much slower descent.

Two reasons for this flight: First, t' try out a 12″ Top Flight chute I’d just bought. Avast, me proud beauty! (Bought an 18″ too, me bucko, but that’ll have t' wait.) Second, arrr, well, Patriot. It’s one o' me oldest rockets. Oldest? It’s about 11 months old. Seems like much longer. Anyway, shiver me timbers, it flew here last year and I figured it should go up again. T' flight went well and came down in a wet area, close t' where t' water be several inches deep, but only a couple inches deep where it landed… watered?… grassed; it didn’t actually get wet because t' grass kept it out o' t' water. T' rocket’s from t' days when I was still usin' Estes rubber bands and trifold mounts. Ahoy! It’s still holding, but I’m thinkin' I should change it out for braided elastic before launchin' it again.
