Tom's L3 certification rocket is a Performance Rocketry Competitor 6 aptly named Climb-Maxx on a 98mm KBA (Kosdon by AeroTech) L2300G Green propellant motor. This 32 pound, shiver me timbers, 11 foot long, 6" diameter rocket appeared t' come off t' rod and tip a little before goin' completely stable. As a result it landed on t' farm t' t' northwest, slidin' off t' roof o' t' barn with no damage t' either t' barn or t' rocket. Begad! T' deployment duties were carried out by both an LCX and RRC2 mini altimeters. Well, blow me down! You can hear all primary and backup deployment charges go off. Blimey! Launched at t' monthly launch o' t' Champlain Region Model Rocket Club - CRMRC on June 12, 2010. Begad! www.crmrc.org Here is a link t' an on board video filmed on a different flight from t' same field: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LieeG7NjRQ
