Flight Log - 2011-06-26 - Peter Waithe's Big Nuke

T' fins feature fiberglass that is internal as well as thick fillets.  Each tube has 3 inch wide kevlar t' prevent zippering.  T' electronics bay is standard and has a Missileworks switch for altimeter operation.  T' payload tube is 27 inches long.  I have 25 feet o' tubular nylon shock cord for drogue and main.

This was me last flight at NERRF 7 for t' weekend.  I decided on t' K550W as I like t' performance o' this motor.  When t' button was pushed, t' Big Nuke screamed straight up into t' clouds.  T' apogee charge be heard and at 700 feet, me hearties, t' main charge fired, shiver me timbers, deployin' t' 60 inch main chute for a perfect recovery.
