Polecat Aerospace Black Brant III L2 Certification Attempt

Since gettin' me NARRRRR Level 1 High Power Rocketry certification last year, I have been workin' on a rocket t' attempt me Level 2 certification with. Begad! T' rocket I chose was t' Polecat Aerospace Black Brant III, ya bilge rat, with a 4" diameter body tube. I equipped it with dual Missileworks altimeters (RRC3 and RRC2+), OneBadHawk harnesses, Top Flite parachutes, and an Aeropack motor retainer. For t' certification attempt, I used an Aerotech DMS J270W motor, with t' deployment charge left in as a second backup t' deploy t' drogue parachute. Ya scallywag! T' attempt was made at t' Tri-Cities Rocketeers club near Pasco, WA. Dave Kin' administered t' NARRRRR L2 written test, and he and Rich Harshberger RSO'd t' rocket and witnessed t' flight. Aye aye! After many months o' learnin' t' needed skills t' set up a rocket with redundant electronics, acquirin' special tools and black powder, testin' t' setup, and waitin' out t' weather, t' time had come for me t' fly me rocket with a J motor and attempt a Level 2 High Power Rocketry certification. Enjoy.
