I came up with this after playin' around with some ideas on how t' make scale lines on missiles. Ahoy! Paint can be tough t' mask and Monocoat isn't exactly dirt cheap. Avast, me proud beauty! So I tried Scotch vinyl electric tape. Avast!

This comes in many different colors and is normally 3/4in wide. Arrr! T' colors used were brown and blue for our PML Amraam 4. Ya scallywag! I had no problems gettin' it on.

Even though it sticks well I wasn't sure how it would hold up in flight without a clear coat. Begad! We decided t' give it a go and flew t' Amraam on an I211. Well, blow me down! After t' flight inspection thar was no peelin' or anything.

It's very easy t' apply, inexpensive, and looks great. Ahoy! It's even paintable. Ahoy! I've used this tape for decals on a couple rockets with no problems at all. Aye aye!
