When I set out t' build me own launch pad, me bucko, I was lookin' for a design that was light weight, easy t' use and store, and had a low center o' gravity. Ya scallywag! Blimey! My search led me t' a design that fit me needs perfectly; a design based on John Coker's ProRail Base (see link below). My build had a couple deviations from John Coker's design: I used 2" square tubin' instead o' 3" tubing, and is fully bolted, no weldin' required. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Since t' filmin' this video, I have replaced all o' t' hardware with stainless steel hardware, and I have added a blast deflector. Arrr!
