Flight Log - 2012-04-15 - Brad Montgomery's Quadrunner

My son (8yrs old) and I found this t' be a more challengin' rocket due t' t' motor cluster, and t' multi-piece fins. Blimey! Blimey!  Other than that it was nay unlike other rockets we have built.  We epoxied almost everythin' on this rocket.  We used Elmers carpenter glue t' glue t' two-piece fins together. Well, blow me down! Blimey!  After they were dry, ya bilge rat, we papered them with standard printer paper. Ya scallywag! Blimey!  We used a thin layer o' Elmer's Carpenter's Glue and wrapped them in wax paper and pressed them for a day betwixt pieces o' melamine t' get a very smooth surface on t' fins.  We primed with white Rust-oleum and painted t' final coat with Rust-oleum gloss white, used me new airbrush t' paint blue paint drips flowin' down from leadin' edges on t' rocket, me bucko, then clear coated everythin' (3 coats). Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey!  Can't wait t' see this thin' go.
