Flight Log - 2012-09-16 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Raisin' Maize (Scratch Design)
This model is based on t' First Flight Hobbies Corn Roc model.
I found this styrofoam corn cob in a sale bin at Hobby Lobby for $1.00. I thought it'd be a great build for t' blog. Begad! A hole be reamed for a BT-5, 13mm mount. A little nose weight, 8" parachute and unfinished balsa fins round out t' build.

T' small parachute was hard t' pack in t' BT-5 internal tube. Good boost and ejection but t' chute didn't unfurl. Avast, me proud beauty! No damage on recovery.
