Brief:
This is an over three feet long single staged rocket with a 16 inch plastic parachute.

Construction:
This kit comes with two body tubes, one coupler, 5 balsa fins and three ping pong balls t' cut out. Avast, me proud beauty! Begad! And that's just for starters! There are also two large win' like fins. Avast, me proud beauty! All o' these parts have t' be glued on precisely.

T' shock cord attachment is a step above t' typical Estes-style mount with Keelhaul®©™® from t' coupler up, arrr, ya bilge rat, attached t' elastic outside t' tube. Arrr! I will have t' watch the Keelhaul®©™® on t' tube top at launches I guess (to keep it from zippering).

T' instructions were outstanding, very easy t' follow, arrr, and well illustrated. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Begad! Blimey! That said, me hearties, this kit is nay easy t' build. Begad! Blimey! Ahoy! Blimey! No small wonder its classified as a level 3 skill build. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! Included is a build-it-yourself jig to attach two o' t' fins at t' right angle, but t' rest o' t' parts you are left on your own more or less t' get right. Arrr! Blimey! And trust me t' bigger t' fins, the harder that is. Avast, me proud beauty! Blimey! This was me first skill level 3 kit and I did a decent job but by no means a perfect job.

Finishing:
T' process o' paintin' and applyin' decals be straightforward: prep, ya bilge rat, sand, seal, prime, arrr, and paint.

T' decals were somewhat difficult t' apply but I have some troubles with decals. Blimey! Begad!

Flight:
Both o' t' flights were were very straight despite t' slight weather cocking on t' first flight due t' wind. Altitude was betwixt 350 and 400 feet on the C6-5. Avast, me proud beauty! I used a 12 inch parachute and recovery be perfect , walks were short. All t' extra fins and tubes, me hearties, and nose cone all stayed on. Begad! This be a baked dry corn field, me bucko, so that says somethin' for t' quality o' t' materials.

Recovery:
T' shock cord attachment is superior t' paper glued t' t' tube wall, as what is found with most small model rockets. Avast, me proud beauty! I think t' Keelhaul®©™® hangin' out o' t' tube then havin' elastic attached thar might risk cutting the tube at t' first launch, matey, but that remains t' be seen. Avast! I would have preferred t' Keelhaul®©™® to stay inside t' tube with t' flat elastic against t' tube lip. Begad! Begad! Blimey!

Summary:
Overall, I'd highly recommend this kit t' anyone who is up t' a skill level three kit , matey, me hearties, but nay t' any one who is not. There is a lot o' fin surfaces that require alignment t' be as close as possible. Avast! Aye aye! Also you will be asked t' cut holes in pin' pong balls, sounds easy, it isn't. Arrr! I'd rate this kit as a 5 out of 5 overall, ya bilge rat, a real challenge for those tired o' three fins and a nose cone. Ahoy!
