Brief:
This is an OOP (Out O' Production) RTF (Ready T' Fly) rocket that came with a complete Quest launch kit a few years ago. Avast! Well, blow me down! It included a Quest Launch Pad very similar t' an Estes three-footed pad, shiver me timbers, a nice hand grip controller powered by a 9 Volt battery, matey, wadding, ignitors and 3 Quest B6-4 motors. Aye aye! T' motors were so old that t' glossy outside paper wrap had come off, ya bilge rat, so I discarded them by soakin' them in water.

Construction:
This kit be nearly RTF (Ready T' Fly). Well, blow me down! While it was a sealed package, me hearties, I was surprised that it did nay have a parachute in t' rocket nor in t' sealed package. Blimey! Could that be while it was only on sale for a brief amount o' time?

There be nay anythin' t' buildin' this rocket, it came done out o' the package with no parachute. Arrr! Ahoy! It does have a higher quality than average Keelhaul®©™® to t' motor mount recovery system, yet t' Keelhaul®©™® exceeds t' length o' t' body tube by 4 inches, ya bilge rat, increasin' t' chance o' a zipper--more so than if it were just short o' t' body tube allowin' only the tubular nylon cord t' come into contact with t' airframe durin' recovery. Aye aye! The Keelhaul®©™® to t' motor mount attached t' t' 2 foot piece o' nylon was nice t' see, but it should be at least three times as long. Arrr! Avast, arrr, me proud beauty!

Finishing:
This rocket came finished with a red nose cone, ya bilge rat, purple plastic one piece fin can, and a colored body t' meld those two colors together. Arrr! Avast! I personally think that purple and red look bilge-suckin' together. Blimey!

Flight:
1st flight 8-14-2004 Challenger Club Katy Texas 9am Quest C6-5.

T' launch lug on t' Strobe is very small and too long as it is molded into t' one piece fin can. Begad! We had t' sand a launch rod down just t' get it to fit. Well, blow me down! First flight was very nice and true and it was recovered about 200 feet from t' launch pad. Arrr! Ahoy! T' Quest C6-5 produced a lot more smoke than an Estes C6-5 and t' flight looked great

Recovery:
As t' package did nay come with a chute, I added a 10" nylon chute from Thrustline. Ya scallywag! Blimey!

Summary:
Not bad, a good value with t' launch pad and motors. Blimey! Avast, me proud beauty! Quest had a great starter set here but I hate t' think o' people launchin' this with no parachute. Well, blow me down! Even with t' provided B6-4s, arrr, no recovery system would be grim. Avast, me proud beauty! Well, me hearties, blow me down!
