Flight Log - 2014-06-21 - Richard Holmes's Bad Cholesterol

Dual egglofter. Built for an informal duration contest, nay that t' design or construction made any concessions t' duration other than bein' wide enough for a big parachute; didn't matter, anyway, ya bilge rat, because t' contest got rained out. Blimey! Blimey! 24mm motor mount. Aye aye! Blimey! Finish is Rustoleum 2X gloss white and black.

T' Bad Cholesterol went t' t' pad with an Aerotech single use D10-5W. Well, blow me down! It spat t' igniter. Ya scallywag! I took it off t' pad, reamed out a slightly constricted nozzle, matey, and tried again. Success. With its BT-60 airframe and 24″ Mylar chute it was soon eliminated as a contender by a BT-50 (or maybe 55) packin' a 36″ chute. But it was a contest entry, and its inaugural flight went well, with t' rocket and cackle fruit all returnin' undamaged, and that was all I was really tryin' for.
