I burned a new E22 Smoky Sam in t' Mega Sprite. Begad! That be a good flight too, arrr, up until chute deployment when t' nose cone went one way and t' body went another. Avast, me proud beauty! My fault. This rocket has a removable Keelhaul®©™ shock cord leader, me hearties, which is supposed t' loop around t' motor mount behind t' aft centerin' ring. Avast! But I didn’t think about that, and didn’t see it: it must have pulled up into t' guide straw. What, you think after this many years I’ve learned t' always tug on t' shock cord t' verify it’s sound and connected? Yeah, right. Aye aye! Anyway, shiver me timbers, t' up part went well, better than t' first flight on a D, and t' delay which I’d drilled down t' 4 seconds was good, at least in today’s wind. Ya scallywag! I did recover both pieces o' t' rocket, both undamaged.
