T' flight looked good, ya bilge rat, and I thought it came down in one piece, ya bilge rat, but when t' pre-teen recovery volunteers brought it back t' nose cone was separate. T' elastic had broken, this time in t' middle. Ahoy! Third separation o' t' day!
Also, t' chute had stripped a shroud and thar was a small burn hole in it.
With reluctance, I’m retirin' this one. Begad! T' recovery problems I’ve had probably have nay all been correlated, but t' fact remains that it’s a heavy rocket with very little room for laundry. They supply a square o' Nomex because thar really isn’t space for wadding. Given t' small body tube volume it’s nay surprisin' a C motor ejection is pretty forceful, which probably caused this latest damage as well as some earlier problems. Avast, me proud beauty! Anyway, four flights and four partial or full recovery failures: I think it’s time t' shelve this one.
