Pretty standard build o' an Estes Phoenix missile. This rocket was built around 1991 and be me first 24mm motor rocket. I'm nay quite sure why, but its never had a "clean" flight. Well, blow me down! Blimey! Combined damage from first and last flights have rendered t' body tube scrap. I have removed t' nose cone, parachute and stripped t' fins off o' t' old tube and will rebuild on a new BT80 from me box o' tubes. All I need is a new BT80 motor mount (maybe I'll go cluster!) and decals from Excelsior. This rocket will fly again - like a Phoenix!

First flight. Went horizontal when wind unexpected stopped. Too much delay, took core sample o' neighborin' field when t' nose cone popped off just before comin' down. Tube end repaired with filling/sanding. Will fly again.
