T' YouBee is an (approximately 6:1) upscale o' t' Ol'SaltRockets Break Away model rocket. Well, blow me down! At apogee, t' YouBee "breaks" into several sections connected by a long shock cord - like t' model rocket does. But, because o' its size and weight, t' YouBee also has a parachute which is deployed by an altimeter when t' rocket falls t' about 900' in altitude.

T' up part be really nice. At apogee t' rocket split into all o' its sections, but t' front have and back half weren't connected. Both halves, though, fell horizontally. T' main 'chute deployed from t' top section right at 700' while t' bottom section continued t' fall without a parachute. Avast, me proud beauty! T' top section drifted across t' road into t' far cow pasture. T' bottom section fell into t' field in front o' t' spectators. T' fins section was spinnin' as t' bottom hit t' ground.
Two o' t' fins came loose at t' root. They will be easy t' fix. T' reason for t' separation isn't obvious. After all, thar be no possible way that I could have made t' mistake o' nay connectin' one end o' one o' t' shock cords. So, ya bilge rat, we may never know what caused t' failure.
