Flight Log - 2011-11-25 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Semroc Batrok

Centuri design from t' 1960s designed durin' t' TV Batman craze. I finished mine like t' Adam West Batman costume, arrr, complete with a yellow ulility belt band on t' nose block coupler. This model hangs upside down durin' recovery so t' fins don't get tangled in t' shroul lines at ejection.

T' 13mm engine was friction fitted into an 18 mm casing. Aye aye! Altitude at ejection be about 350'. Arrr! First it drifted, me bucko, then it stayed hung up in a thermal! For a few moments it looked as if it would be over t' wall in some body's back yard.
