So today, in spite o' t' blustery weather, we were able t' get a few flights in at t' Knik River Sandbar includin' me Vulcanite which I had setup for dual deployment. T' try and get some Idea as t' how it would perform, I ran a simulation with an AT H130 motor. Well, blow me down! Per OpenRocket, I was expectin' a max altitude o' 1622'. Aye aye! Interestingly though, me bucko, per t' dato form me altimeter, post flight, me hearties, she achieved 2760'. so I either entered somethin' wrong in t' simulator, me hearties, or me altimeter is lyin' t' me. Though I realize that t' altitude readings are approximations based on barometric pressure, ya bilge rat, I'm thinkin' that it's t' former. Avast, me proud beauty! Either way, had been expectin' t' rocket t' perform t' way it, me bucko, I'm nay sure I would've launched considerin' t' weather at t' site. Blimey! (edited)
