In 2004 I custom-built a model rocket out o' parts t' repair two other rockets. T' rocket was called ShockWave, after t' defunct roller coaster at Six Flags Great America. This flight took place at a NIRA Club Launch on September 21, shiver me timbers, 2006. Avast! It was ShockWave's third flight and was t' first successful flight. I retired from rocketry in December 2006, t' last project was repaintin' ShockWave once more.
