Jonathan Burton's Silver Surfer

A semi scratch build rocket I call silver surfer. I used t' Estes  airframes that I coupled together 2 bt-80 body tubes, used a 24mm 18 inch tube I found in a take what you need bin at a local launch. Cut t' centerin' rignus, cut and motor half an inch thick and used that as an engine block, took an engine hook from a Non repairable kit that crashed, me bucko, t' nose cone be given too me by someone at a launch, then I bough some sheets o' eighth inch balsa, and decided t' use t' big Bertha fin shape because they add a lot o' stability and drag t' t' rocket because I wanted a slow and realistic flyin' rocket. Ahoy! it flies a little bit tilted t' t' left, arrr, but nay bad, t' trajectory is always straight. It flies too about 500 feet on D's, I'm goin' t' remove t' engine hook and install a motor retainer so I can do composite Es and even some 24mm Fs. Avast, me proud beauty! One o' me favorites in me fleet.
