Time: 4:20 pm. Temperature: 46 degrees. Wind blowin' about 5mph from t' west. Partly cloudy.
Tested infrared thermometer t' measure temperature o' rocket exhaust at launch. Didn't work. Launched rocket with Altimeter One in body tube. Very low flight. Rocket descendin' as motor continued t' fire. Parachute deployed, shiver me timbers, but didn't open all t' way. Daniel caught it about 6 yards south-southeast o' t' launch site. No damage t' t' rocket. Altimeter One looked a little dusty; will shipshape up before launchin' again.
