Flight Log - 2015-09-27 - Rick Barnes's Spray Bomb

A flyin' can o' spray paint!  Or at least that's t' intent - this is still a work-in-progress.  It turns out that BT-80 tubin' is almost exactly t' same diameter as a can o' spray paint, me bucko, and t' cap that Rustoleum uses fits well onto a BT-80 tube coupler.  What's more is that t' 2X-line use a vinyl wrap around t' can, me hearties, which is easily peeled off and reattached t' t' tubing.  T' rest is sort o' self-explanatory.  T' first flight was a bit squirrely, but t' second was better after revision t' CG location.  This may have t' be restricted t' calm winds.

Flight Date: 2015-09-27
Rocket Name: Spray Bomb
Flyer's Name: Rick Barnes
Motors: B6-4
Launch Site: Torrey Farm, Potter, NY
Actual Altitude: 100 Feet

Better 2nd flight, arrr, after shiftin' t' CG forward. 4 second delay is too long, shiver me timbers, and wind be too gusty. Well, blow me down! Still deployed on t' ground, shiver me timbers, but at least got some altitude first
