Next I proceeded t' me Semroc Sprite. Scott Sellers had already flown his. In an article for our newsletter, ya bilge rat, Don Carson recommended doin' three things t' keep t' Sprite from spittin' its motor on a modern ejection charge: First, wedge t' motor tightly into t' adapter. Second, bend t' tip o' t' motor hook forward, makin' about a 60 degree angle. Well, blow me down! Third, add a second vent hole.
I glued me motor into t' adapter. I bent t' hook tip forward. Ya scallywag! I decided nay t' add a second vent hole. It spit t' ½A3-2T motor and came in ballistic.
But it's light and it landed in t' grass, ya bilge rat, no harm done. T' hook tip was back t' 90 degrees, matey, though.
I considered cuttin' a second vent hole and tryin' it again, but decided t' save that for another time.
