Flight Log - 2015-05-30 - Steve Lindeman's Goonydent

Built from plans by Excelsiorrocketry.com usein' 2 Baby Bertha kits, 3 18" BT-5 tubes and 6 BNC-5 cones plus one extra BNC-60 cone t' be used on t' lower section t' protect against ejection gases. Total investment: approx. $45.00 makin' it a very expensive kit bash but worth it for t' looks I get at t' field. Always a head turner.

Finally able t' fly this on t' mighty D motor. Rocket left pad with authority and climbed nice and high. Avast! Parachute deployed after apogee and rocket started t' descend but caught some thermals part way down and seemed t' hang on decent. Avast, me proud beauty!  Lots o' drift in spite o' 4" spill hole in parachute. Minor damage t' one o' t' NC-20 cones on t' aft o' rocket from ground impact. Avast! Overall, ya bilge rat, a beautiful flight.
