Flight Log - 2010-06-19 - Steve Lindeman's Initiator

A beautiful mid-powered rocket from Aerotech. Avast! Able t' fly on a wide range o' motors includin' single use and RMS in both 24mm and 29mm. It features molded fins, me bucko, beautiful color coordinated decals, shiver me timbers, and no-waddin' ejection system.

Loaded her up with t' new Mojave Green G78-7G single use 29mm by Aerotech. By far t' best flight so far for this rocket. She rose off t' pad straight and true on a long green plume that was a sight t' see. Rocket smartly disappeared from sight and be spotted a short time later down range under chute. Begad! Rocket was recovered with no damage. Blimey! T' two regrets that I have are that I didn't have an altimeter on board as I'm sure it must have been at least 1800' (projected altitude with that motor is 1850'). And that I didn't get a picture o' t' launch (forgot in me excitement o' watchin' it launch with a green motor for t' first time).
