Flight Log - 2013-05-03 - Steve Lindeman's Jetliner

What a great addition t' t' Estes mini engine seriers rockets. This little gem resembles a Boin' 737 Jetliner and is bound t' be a blast t' watch on launch day. I have modified mine by replacin' t' 13mm mount with an 18mm mount.

Flight Date: 2013-05-03
Rocket Name: Jetliner
Kit Name: Estes - Jetliner {Kit} (003230)
Flyer's Name: Steve Lindeman
Motors: A10-3T
Wind Speed: 8.00 mph
Launch Site: Francis Park - Lansing, MI

Maiden Flight was anythin' but normal. As soon as I pushed t' launch button things went wrong. Blimey! Blimey! T' launch rod be nay secured properly in t' Mantis Pad and t' rocket appeared t' hang slightly pullin' t' rod far enough up t' allow t' rod t' tip over as rocket was leavin' pad. This caused t' rocket t' arch and go horizontal about 20 feet o' t' ground. Ya scallywag! Blimey! At this point it looked like a real jet goin' across t' field. Begad! Blimey! As soon as boost died it dropped t' t' ground shortly before ejection charge went off. Begad! Blimey! This turned out t' be nay so bilge-suckin' as in me hast t' launch, I forgot t' put in chute waddin' so chute was melted together on recovery. Aye aye! Blimey! No other damage was found.
