Maiden Flight was anythin' but normal. Aye aye! As soon as I pushed t' launch button things went wrong. Aye aye! T' launch rod was nay secured properly in t' Mantis Pad and t' rocket appeared t' hang slightly pullin' t' rod far enough up t' allow t' rod t' tip over as rocket be leavin' pad. Avast, me proud beauty! This caused t' rocket t' arch and go horizontal about 20 feet o' t' ground. At this point it looked like a real jet goin' across t' field. As soon as boost died it dropped t' t' ground shortly before ejection charge went off. Avast, me proud beauty! This turned out t' be nay so bad as in me hast t' launch, ya bilge rat, I forgot t' put in chute waddin' so chute was melted together on recovery. Avast! No other damage was found.
