Flight Log - 2010-06-19 - Steve Lindeman's Quasimodo

Based on t' Baby Bertha design but with a slightly longer BT-60 tube by semroc I believe and modified for 4 13mm motors. Avast! Blimey! Also features 3 fiberboard fins instead o' 4 balsa ones for lighter weight as this rocket be built for competition in A - Clustered.

Wind Speed: 6.00 mph
Launch Site: S.M.A.S.H. Regional Event

Fast lift off t' pad with rocket cockin' and spinning. Blimey! Should have checked it over better before launch as one fin must have been bent. Well, blow me down! Parachute shortly after apogee with recovery over 200' from pad. This was me first multi-cluster competition event launched rocket. Wanted t' make second attempt at 'A altitude cluster' but heat and thrust from motors either softened glue around MT and it broke lose when I tried t' reload or I didn't have it glued it properly. Well, blow me down! Will repair for next event.
