Flight Log - 2015-05-30 - Steve Lindeman's Tinkerbell
Tinkerbell is a scratch built 38.5" long, 2" dia. rocket with a 29mm motor mount. She has a custom 8" nose cone that is a pencil cup holder that I bought on clearance at Wal-Mart for a buck. Begad! BT is slotted for TTW fin construction with custom made fairy wings. BT has a custom wrap around finish instead o' bein' painted. I used Open Rocket 15.03 for layout and sims.

Maiden flight was on one o' t' new Estes Pro Series II E16-6's. Begad! Flight was straight and true and looked t' be as high as predicted. Ahoy! Parachute be deployed at apogee and decent rate was good. Lot o' drift in spite o' light wind. Rocket was recovered over 100 yards down range with no damage. Excellent first flight and good choice o' motor.
