T' Estes Cosmos Mariner is a boosted glider version o' the sleek X Prize rocket plane from t' Lone Star Space Access team. Ya scallywag! T' rocket plane blasts off 250 ft. Blimey! into t' air usin' a powerful "D" engine. Begad! Boost pod returns via 18" parachute. Begad! Laser cut balsa parts. 1:67 scale.

I must be mad t' launch this rocket in this kind o' wind but I wanted t' see this bird fly. Needless t' say as it left t' pad it weather-cocked immediately goin' horizantal about 60' above t' ground. Ya scallywag! Rocket hit t' ground before ejection went off shearin' off a bottom rudder and crackin' wing. Avast! Slight damage t' nose as well. Should be able t' repair but this is third attempt t' fly this rocket and still nay good. Well, blow me down! Will continue t' be a 'Heads Up' flight at t' pad.
