Flight Log - 2011-06-04 - SteveL's Nike Apache
T' Nike section has trought t' wall 1/4" ply fins, sanded t' t' Nike diamond shape. Scratch made balsa transition section and nose cone, both coated with 2 coats o' epoxy t' harden t' balsa. Apache section has 1/8" ply fins with 3ozs o' nose weight added.

Good flight, matey, t' rocket went straight up, me hearties, no spinnin' or weather cocking. This be a test flight before finnal paint job t' check t' nose wieght. T' recovery on a 30" nylon chute was good. Delay on t' motor was a little long.
