I originally built this kit back in t' mid-90's and put a TON o' effort into it. I recall usin' quite a bit o' Pactra Prep t' seal t' balsa fins and get a smooth finish. Arrr! It won me an award back then, me bucko, and be on display for about 15 years.

Once I joined t' Dallas Area Rocket Society, I entered it in t' 2010 DARS Fall Classic "Classic Classic" category where it took first place. Begad! It saw action again at t' 2011 event, winnin' t' "Classic Starship" category. Avast! It is now retired from competition, and after a stand-up landin' in December o' 2012, retired from flight. Begad! It has returned t' display status when I do presentations at local schools.

A GREAT kit that I would love t' get another one... But they go over $50 every time I see them on Ebay. Perhaps sometime...
