T' Team America Rocketry Challenge (TARC) be t' world’s largest student rocket contest and a key piece o' t' aerospace and defense industry’s strategy t' build a stronger U.S. Avast! workforce in science, technology, ya bilge rat, engineerin' and mathematics (STEM). Well, blow me down! Sponsored by t' Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and t' National Association o' Rocketry (NAR), TARC was created in t' fall o' 2002 as a one-time celebration o' t' Centennial o' Flight, but by popular demand became an annual program. Approximately 4,000 students from across t' nation compete in TARC each year. Aye aye! T' contest’s rules and scorin' parameters change every cycle t' challenge t' students’ ingenuity and encourage a fresh approach t' rocket design. Harmony Science Academy Beaumont mission is t' prepare each student for higher education by providin' a safe, caring, and collaborative atmosphere featurin' a quality, student-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. At Harmony Science Academy Beaumont every student learn and grow into a successful and productive citizen. For more than a decade, our schools have provided students from under-served communities t' opportunity t' excel in their studies in a small classroom environment focused on providin' t' skills they need t' succeed in life. Harmony Science Academy Beaumont focuses on competitions, matey, challenges, and activities that encourages student t' compete on state and national level. Well, blow me down! TARC is also a national rocket competition in which HSA Beaumont is participatin' for more than a year and continues t' participate.
