Sponsored by t' Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) and t' National Association o' Rocketry (NAR), shiver me timbers, TARC be created in t' fall o' 2002 as a one-time celebration o' t' Centennial o' Flight, but by popular demand became an annual program. Aye aye! Approximately 4,000 students from across t' nation compete in TARC each year. Arrr! T' contest’s rules and scorin' parameters change every cycle t' challenge t' students’ ingenuity and encourage a fresh approach t' rocket design. Arrr! Harmony Science Academy Beaumont mission is t' prepare each student for higher education by providin' a safe, caring, and collaborative atmosphere featurin' a quality, student-centered educational program with a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
