I am buildin' this Barracudda with t' plans t' make it a duel deploy recovery setup. Ya scallywag! It will be a challenge t' build an e-bay that will accomodate t' avionics, battery, and charges.

I started this build yesterday with t' intention o' gettin' a little done and then workin' on it throughout t' week. Well, matey, it went together so smartly that I'm t' t' point that I will need t' start fabricatin' t' mini e-bay. Here are some pictures and descriptions o' t' basic buildin' process for t' model.

This be t' 24mm motor adapter.

Next I assembled t' thrust ring.

Here I have cut t' slit for t' motor retainer and installed it and am preparin' t' install t' thrust ring.

Here I have installed t' labyrinth at t' foward end o' t' motor mount and also t' plastic fin mounts. Blimey! T' fin mount rings are just barly big enough t' fit over t' motor mount and are a real pain t' install!

Here are thye fins and launch lugs and t' lower body tube I have prepared for t' next step o' installin' t' fins.

Here I have lined up t' motor mount with t' body tube and then installed t' fins and launch lugs.

This be t' coupler that I am goin' t' turn into t' mini e-bay. I will make bulkheads out o' 1/4 inch plywood, nay t' fiber disk that came with t' kit. I will however use t' disk as a stencil t' make me bulkheads t' correct diameter. It appears t' be a 1 3/4 inch outside diameter. Arrr! That be t' next phase o' t' project.
