MIT's Rocket Team took Project Therion t' an URRG Launch. Well, blow me down! Therion stands 11ft 8in tall and weighs in at 58lbs. Aye aye! All components were student constructed except t' nose cone and t' motor. T' vehicle was powered by a CTI M3400WT. T' rocket's apogee was 10,889 ft and t' vehicle attained a maximum velocity o' 753 MPH, or just over Mach 1. Aye aye! A recovery anomaly caused t' drogue parachute t' reef and provide insufficient force t' extract t' main parachute, me hearties, however, t' all composite air-frame withstood t' landin' admirably. Avast, me proud beauty! Data from this test will be used t' improve our IREC rocket, which will next fly in Green River, Utah. Blimey!
