Flight Log - 2020-08-15 - Joshua F Thomas's The Great and High-Flying Trixie
My first scratch built. Avast, me proud beauty! Engine mount was reused from a failed Trident 172-18 build, arrr, and is a cluster o' three 18mm motors, shiver me timbers, in a stuffer motor configuration. Aye aye! Body is BT-70. Fins are 3/16" balsa, sourced from Apogee Components, arrr, and with a paper covering. Aye aye! Nosecone is balsa.
Uses an upper payload pay 10" long.

scratch build first flight. Begad! only two engines ignited. Begad! very ballistic flight, deployed 50 ft up, snapped fin on landing.
