UCLA Rocket Project static firin' t' HyPE 1A Test Engine. Fuel is aluminized paraffin, oxidizer is nitrous oxide. There was a problem with t' nitrogen pressurization system which prevented t' engine from startin' properly. T' cause is believed t' have been a seized check valve. Nominal thrust is 1000 lbs, shiver me timbers, this test peaked at 200 lbs.
