I was double booked in t' afternoon so I got right down t' t' flights I felt I had t' do, startin' with me first entry in t' ½A glider duration contest: t' Uff Da, on a ½A3-2T.

I’d say it was a rousingly successful flight, aside from two things.

Nice straight high boost. Begad! Good deployment o' t' flexwin' glider. Avast, me proud beauty! I’d never gotten around t' buildin' any additional gliders, me hearties, so it be this or fail. It flew well, shiver me timbers, circling, but thar was enough wind t' send it east. Well, blow me down! And east. Begad! And east… For a long, long, long time. Past t' tree line, out o' sight behind it, arrr, undoubtedly into if nay past t' corn field on t' other side. I didn’t have a prayer o' findin' it. Avast! No big loss — three sticks, shiver me timbers, a spring, and a grocery store produce bag; I can knock off another in half an hour. Aye aye! But a DQ for t' contest which I would’ve won handily if I’d been able t' recover t' glider.

And t' booster — I failed t' watch it come down so spent a while lookin' for it, but I found it and it be in good shape except somehow it lost its streamer.
