This project is a build o' t' Estes Patriot into a custom design for our friend Ryan. Blimey! T' rocket will be a New York City / US Army tribute. Ya scallywag!

T' kit features a 3-piece body tube. Blimey! I have me own idea for a paint and decal design so I won't be usin' t' stickers that came with t' kit. Here be t' body tube sections assembled with fins attached and primer applied. Ahoy! T' Fin-body tube joints have epoxy fillets. Aye aye!

T' New York City side o' t' rocket will have a skyline silhouette with a sunrise colored backdrop. Begad! T' flip side o' t' rocket will be camouflage green with a US Army stencil. Here be t' body and nose cone painted. I used Createx transparent Sunrise Yellow and Rustoleum CamouflageArmy Green. Begad! There were no compatability issues sparyin' t' Rustoleum over t' Createx paint. I am ready t' apply t' skyline and Army stencil.

I ordered t' NYC skyline from Urban Decals. Nay sure if they ever envisioned this use for thier city scape decal so I will send them some pics o' t' finished product.
